POSITION SUMMARY
The position is responsible for supporting financial planning and analysis processes, including closing activities and preparation of financial statements; budgeting and forecasting; development of management dashboards; design and deployment of key company metrics; providing accurate and timely analysis to the Executive team; supporting the company’s business units with accurate and consistent financial analysis; and providing modeling and recommendations for new business opportunities and investments.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Prepare month-end reporting and provide insight on internal customer inquiries of financial results. Investigate variances and evaluate their effect on planned objectives; proactively explore questionable entries and advise management of potential problems.
- Maintain and analyze monthly entries to budgets and balance sheet accounts which include the processing of accounting entries and the analysis of charges for accuracy and correctness of account distribution.
- Maintain operational data and financial reports for prior periods, forecasts, or objectives.
- Research, compile, and analyze financial data on an ad hoc basis, as required. Present summarized results, analysis, and recommendations to management, focusing on continuous business process improvements, challenging current processes/procedures to determine if improvements are deemed appropriate and consequently implement process improvements.
- Support long-term profit planning, annual budgeting, and monthly forecasting process.
- Drive process improvement through implementations of new processes, tools, and technology.
- Be a team player working with multiple cross functional teams in a collaborative and constructive manner.
- Support acquisition and divestiture financial modeling and due diligence.
