Position Overview:
As an Entry-Level Programmer / IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our IT department. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with the programming and maintenance of our phone systems and working on reporting projects through our system's open-source API. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Phone System Programming: Assist in the programming, configuration, and troubleshooting of our internal and external phone systems, ensuring seamless communication across the company.
- Reporting: Work on developing and maintaining reporting tools to help with data collection, analysis, and visualization.
- Technical Support: Provide first-line IT support to team members, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Documentation: Create and update technical documentation related to phone systems and other IT processes.
- Learning & Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in programming, IT support, and telecommunications.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Programming Skills: Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar. Familiarity with API development and integration is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of phone system programming, VoIP technology, and networking fundamentals is preferred but not required.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adaptability: Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.
