ES&H Systems Functional Analyst

Fermilab is seeking an experienced and motivated ES&H Systems Functional Analyst to provide support to the Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) Division at Fermilab. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying the data management needs of the ES&H Division including serving as the ES&H liaison with the Fermilab IT Division. You Will: Be the application owner and maintain Fermilab ES&H Locus EIM environmental protection cloud system: Assign and manage Fermilab ES&H sampling location IDs and sampling program names, Create and manage user interface, reports, and simple queries, Create automation for repeating tasks and Create processes for validation of uploaded data Be the application owner for other commercial off-the-shelf ES&H systems and applications Consult with IT on custom ES&H database applications Manage application access and permissions for users Recommend and implement changes to optimize existing applications Recommend and implement new applications to replace outdated technologies Develop and execute a strategy for automating ES&H’s existing paper-based and manual processes Be the ES&H liaison with the IT division to ensure the ES&H/IT roadmap is executed on schedule Execute testing of application changes prior to implementation Develop and execute implementation plans for complex application changes Contribute effectively within a diverse workforce and upholds Fermilab’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. We Are Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or a related field, or commensurate experience 2 years' experience in LIMS or other similar laboratory off-the-shelf applications Experience with database technologies (MS SQL, Oracle) a plus Experience in a Windows Server environment a plus Experience with HTML Experience with business process mapping Demonstrated ability to implement, manage, test, and troubleshoot applications.
