The Stock Keeper (Maintenance Inventory Control Clerk) is responsible for receiving maintenance parts and services and supporting maintenance functions.
Ways you will make a difference
- Preform all responsibilities and duties in a safe manner
- Controlling and monitoring Maintenance Stock Room inventories using the provided resources
- Receive Maintenance Parts and Services as they arrive/upon completion using the provided resources
- Review open Purchase Orders on weekly reports for any issues and resolve/inform on those issues
- Kit/Stage Maintenance Parts based on the needs of the Maintenance Planner and/or others
- Complete Daily Cycle Counts of inventoried parts, and report findings using the provided resources
- Support Maintenance functions by helping locate Maintenance Parts needed for Breakdowns/PMs
- Retain and control all receiving paperwork based on the facility’s current requirements
- Identify Maintenance concerns with incoming parts/services
- Identify Food and EHS Safety concerns with incoming parts/services
- Identify Obsolete Maintenance Parts and correct any issues using the provided resources
- Maintain constant communication with Part Vendors and help address any concerns
- Communicate with Vendors on part lead-times and deliveries
- Create Purchase Requests based on inventory needs
- Create/Modify Maintenance Part inventory numbers and descriptions
- Be involved in plant downtime meetings/discussions
- Be involved in Continuous Improvement discussions and/or events
- Be involved in Maintenance Downtime Planning meetings
- Preform miscellaneous related duties as assigned
Skills that will make you successful
- Strong Computer Skills and Understanding
- Experience with Microsoft Office, and other related computer applications
- Strong Clerical Skills
- Ability to communicate with outside Vendors/Contractors in a professional and courteous manner
- Highly Organized
- Experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks and Lifts preferred
