Palace Entertainment is a subsidiary of Parques Reunidos, one of the leading global operators, with more than 60 different assets (theme parks, zoos and marine parks, water parks and other attractions), spread out over various countries across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Australia. The outgoing and service-oriented Retail Team Members will be assigned to one of over a dozen gift-shops throughout the park. This position will have numerous interactions and opportunities to ensure that all guests have a positive experience when visiting the amusement park. We are currently looking for a: Adventureland Park - Retail Team Member Roles & Responsibilities: Roles and Responsibilities: Greets all guests with a friendly smile Operates a point-of-sale system including ability to accurately process credit card and gift card sales Maintains a general knowledge of the items in the stands in order to assist guests with questions regarding products Monitors and stocks items as needed Maintains stores, stands, and storage closets in a neat, clean, and organized fashion which includes but is not limited to occasional sweeping, dusting, and wiping down of surfaces Refolds or rehangs clothing items as necessary Operates mobile retail carts when needed Rotates food and beverage products according to department standards and in compliance with health code regulations Notifies supervisors or managers when supplies are running low such as printer paper, ink pens, trash bags, shopping bags, etc. Protects guest belongings, turns in lost and found items immediately Travel to and from parking lot to work site Reports maintenance or safety concerns to a supervisor or manager in a timely manner Cooperates with other departments to provide a positive guest experience Promptly notifies the security team or the operator of team member and guest injuries or emergencies Completes additional duties as assigned by supervisors, managers, or directors Skills: Desire to contribute to a supportive and effective team Willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced setting Strong attention to detail Customer service-oriented attitude Flexible availability Experience: Previous experience is not required.
