The Kennel Technician position is a key role within our kennel program that provides daily care for our puppies and assists all of our stores with kennel maintenance. The position involves cleaning, bathing, light grooming, exercising, and feeding of our puppies. The Kennel Technician is also responsible for cleaning and sanitizing pet condos, administering medication, and monitoring the well-being of our puppies. Fetch Puppies provides a professional Kennel Technician Training Program and management advancement opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:
- Daily care of our puppies
- Bathing, light grooming, exercising, feeding, administering medication, and monitoring behavior
- Assist with kennel maintenance and cleaning
- Maintaining animal records: weight, physical condition, medications given, food intake, and other potential data as needed
- Washing, drying, and folding laundry
- Must be able to lift 40lbs or more, stoop, bend and stand on feet for long periods of time
- Other duties as determined by Kennel Manager
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or relevant education and work experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Driver's License (Required)
- May require background check
Skills & Requirements:
- Previous experience with animals preferred but not required
- Positive attitude

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the kennel
- Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop
- Ability to lift more than 40 lbs.
- Certain assignments may require other qualifications and skills
Job Type: Full-Time 40 hours a week /Part Time 25 hours a week
- Compensation is commensurate with experience. Rate $10.00 – $14.00 hourly

- The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
