Job Title: Network Admin

Duration: 6 Months Contract to hire

Location: Lancaster, PA

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's or associate degree required (or equivalent experience), preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems.
2. Five to seven years of Information Technology experience in network administration and/or network architecture areas performing installations, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance of various network devices.
3. Strong prior experience with Cisco equipment and network design practices required. Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of infrastructure requirements and components of local and wide area networks.
5. Knowledge and experience with structured cabling standards and design practices.
6. Solid understanding of OSI Data Model, IP addressing, Subnetting, and VLSM.
7. Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
8. Experience with and understanding of routing protocols and platforms (Cisco preferred).
9. Experience in switching platforms (Cisco preferred).
10. Experience in Firewall and VPN Configuration (FortiNet and Palo Alto Firewalls preferred).
11. Considerable knowledge of network protocols and concepts including TCP/IP,DHCP, DNS, Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, VLAN’s, VTP, HSRP, routing protocols, RADIUS, and TACACS .
12. Understanding of QoS, route filtering and ACL's.
13. Experience with bridging/switching protocols: Spanning Tree Protocol (STP, PVST ),VTP, 802.1q and ISL, and Ether channel.
14. Experience with enterprise-level wireless infrastructure (Cisco Wireless Access Points, Controllers, and Cisco Prime Infrastructure).
15. Working experience with Network Access Control.
16. Telephone VOIP experience with Shoretel /Mitel systems.
17. Strong knowledge of network endpoint devices including Windows and Apple PCs, and common mobile devices/operating systems.
18. Strong oral, written and presentation skills. Must have the ability to relay technical information in business terms. Provide timely feedback to vendor partners, associates, and management.

1. Knowledge of Security best practices as related to network access and management of network Infrastructure.
2. Other qualifications to the above that the Board may find acceptable and appropriate.
