FF3 Resource Group Inc. is a full service technology staffing firm. Our Talent Management Practice provides contract Technology Professionals in all areas of the Project Lifecycle from Discovery to Operations.
FF3 Resource Group is looking to fill a Business Systems Analyst for our client.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordinates, oversees and completes IT projects. Tracks project deliverables and reports project status to upper management. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and directs the work of others. Applies systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with business users and vendors, to determine software and technical functional specifications. Documents requirements and technical specifications for modifications to computer systems and programs. Works closely with Application Developers to ensure appropriate translation of business requirements into working code. Documents business rules and maintains rules repository. Develops test plans, test scripts, test scenarios and performs Quality Assurance testing. Analyzes data results from use of business processing software and provides conceptual solutions to systems design work. Contacts are employees at all levels of the company, vendors and independent contractors.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Must have Duck Creek Policy and Billing experience for a minimum of two years.
- Scrum Master experience is a must.
- Manage and direct IT projects through completion, including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring progress, and reporting to management.
- Ability to apply systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine software and system functional specifications.
- Ability to design, document, perform analysis and testing modifications for computer systems and programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose abstract information into details, and to generalize from details.
- Lead requirements elicitation workshops and meetings.
- Ability to validate data obtained via other techniques and expose new areas for elicitation.
- Work with the vast array of information gathered during elicitation and able to respond in a timely manner to rapidly changing information.
- Negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders.
- Ability to represent requirements information in graphical forms that augment textual representations in natural language.
- Design and develop queries and reports using tools such as SQL, Crystal Reports and Business Objects.
- Create, execute and manage test plans with expected results for all levels of testing throughout the project life cycle: System Testing, Functional Requirements Testing and Regression testing.
- Must have worked in insurance industry.
This is a remote position. Must be able to work Pacific Standard Time hours.
