Job Description:
The Mid-Level OSINT Analyst conducts OSINT activities in response to customer RFIs or taskings and working with the customer to refine RFIs, as needed.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect, exploit, and analyze PAI utilizing Web Scrape TTPs, prepare reports in the format required by the task, with minimal supervision, using SIPRNet and JWICS systems and tools
- Train and mentor Marines and staff analysts in OSINT tradecraft and best practices, including ability to administer OSINT training, when required
- Identify, develop, and formalize new OSINT tradecraft and other standard operating procedures (SOP), as needed, to meet mission requirements
- Active TS/SCI
- Three years OSINT analysis and production experience, with military applications on SIPRNet and JWICS within the last five years
- Completion of at least one formal OSINT course: Cyber Advanced Support Operations (CASO), OSINT Analytical Tools and Intelligence Training (OSINT 301/302), Expeditionary OSINT (EOSINT) or Equivalent
- One year experience with PAI tools, such as Berber Hunter Toolkit, Maltego, TinEye, Flashpoint, Harvester, Silobreaker, Google Dorking, Creepy, Recorded Futures, Wormhole, Gitrob, and Shodan or equivalent
- One year experience with the use of managed attribution tools and tradecraft
- One year experience with standard PAI sources, such as social media, blogs, databases, maps, videos, academic literature, news media and journals, technical publications, Web Scrape-derived data, professional publications
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or higher degree from an accredited institution
