BASIC PURPOSE The Multimedia Designer conceptualizes, executes and produces a variety of high-impact, creative, multimedia communications and marketing collateral across a variety of channels to promote and support the Bank’s programs, products, services and members, while ensuring a strong and consistent brand identity. This position calls for a passionate, collaborative professional with excellent communication and proven design skills. The preferred candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Conceptualize, plan, design and execute a full range of high-impact, multimedia communications and marketing collateral (both print and digital), including, but not limited to: infographics, presentations, marketing collateral, template designs and animation and motion graphics Ensure a creative, yet consistent look and feel that adheres to and supports the Bank’s brand, visual identity, legal and compliance guidelines and messaging Produce and edit videos, including animated videos for marketing, communications, training, online publications and websites Blend photography, imagery, charts, text and multimedia elements to create high-impact materials for digital and print campaigns Support Bank’s web presence by ensuring websites, digital marketing collateral and content are maintained and refreshed as market, product, compliance and regulatory needs dictate, including posting documents, text updates, guides and forms and other assets to the Bank’s websites, as necessary Support optimization of the company website, including publishing landing pages, auditing and testing website features and performing other web administration activities Oversee communications and relationships with outside contractors and vendors, when applicable Stay ahead of the curve on design technologies, trends, methodologies and their applications within the Bank, including familiarity with best practices for graphics and video content on social media platforms Promote an environment of empathy and respect, while advocating for diversity in all levels of the organization from interaction with team members to the selection of business partners and vendors, to the practice of inclusion in all levels of decision-making Perform other duties as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, communications or a related field 5 years of experience in developing digital marketing (web, email, motion, animation, video). field Demonstrated ability to design for both digital and print Advanced proficiency in Adobe CC suite (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Aftereffects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere), advanced photo retouching and color correcting skills, expert-level MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Portfolio incorporating UI/UX designs, mockups and/or sketches that demonstrate an understanding of wireframing, interaction design, visual design and design best practices Experience with photography and art direction, previous photography experience, a plus Demonstrated graphics animation software experience, video and audio file editing skills, Working knowledge of HTML in editing websites and the creation and editing of email blasts Experience in mobile design and delivery Strong attention to detail Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, developing creative deliverables within tight deadlines; ability to pivot when projects dictate Excellent oral and written communications skills; previous copywriting experience, a plus Provide design solutions that incorporate accessibility and usability standards and best practices Working knowledge of content management systems (CMS) such Kentico, WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager or equivalent, a plus; previous experience using email marketing and event management platforms, a plus Professional client service manner and ability to interact with all levels of management Demonstrated project management and organization skills Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to manage own time and take initiative Experience working in a professional services organization, a plus Ability to learn new skills and technologies Ability to convey complex ideas and products into intuitive creative design concepts Willing to travel on as-needed basis Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours as projects dictate FHLB Dallas Offers a Professional, Inclusive Culture FHL Bank Dallas employees are committed to and exemplify the following principles: Service to our members is first and foremost All business will be conducted honestly and ethically Each employee contributes to customer service by directly serving our members or supporting those who do Interaction with members should focus on building professional relationships and helping customers achieve their goals Cooperation and teamwork throughout and across all levels of FHLB Dallas are essential to its effectiveness Colleagues and members will be treated with the utmost respect and dignity FHLB Dallas provides equal employment opportunity to all individuals without regard to race, religion, color, sex, age, marital status, ancestry, veteran status, disability, or national origin.
