The HR Generalist will consult in all aspects of human resources, including onboarding, HRIS management, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, compliance, training, learning & development, and leaves of absence. Impact in this Role

As a key member of our People Operations Team, you will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate an amazing and innovative culture. The ideal candidate will bring creative and effective ideas and solutions to a growing organization while supporting the Vision, Purpose, Positioning, Brand Essence, Business Model, Core Strategies, Long-Term Objectives, and Priorities of the Company.

You report directly to the Director of People Operations at HQ with a dotted line to our Director or Engineering in Pune, interacting with individuals on all levels of the organization. You are collaborative, seek out opinions, earn and maintain trust with your teams, are an inclusive leader, value and demand diversity of thought, and authentically live our Values.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of HR operations; administration of policies and procedures and programs of the organization.
  • Manage and execute the onboarding, off-boarding, company sponsored benefits, leaves of absence, and time off processes, including system changes and paperwork.
  • Serve as a critical connection to our amazing team members - answer questions, and help employees navigate all aspects of HR.
  • Establish and manage key organizational relationships, understanding the business as a trusted advisor on all levels. Proactively offer solutions regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution with insightful data to guide decision-making.
  • Maintain and update employee data in the HRIS system and in employee files.
  • Maintain employee handbook and suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve the efficiency of the organization as a whole and to improve the employee experience.
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics; prepare reports.
  • Responsible for facilities management
  • Organize various employee engagement activities.
  • Assist in recruitment, as needed.
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

Desired Traits

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in a similar position within human resources
  • Knowledge of local India labor laws
  • Proficient in english
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and people skills
  • Ability to adapt and learn systems quickly
