Fidé is currently seeking a RN with Emergency Room experience for a 13 week contract in Mott Haven, NY.
Minimum Requirements:
Two years of the following experience is required: Emergency room experience is required IV insertion and phlebotomy skill is required Conscious sedation
Job Description:
We are looking for highly organized, compassionate candidates to work as ER nurses. ER nurses are the first line of defense when responding to patient injuries, trauma, or allergic reactions. They are always prepared to respond to emergencies, assist doctors in emergency medical care, and ensure a high quality of nursing standards are maintained, among other duties.
Responsibilities
Triage incoming patients based on level of injury or illness
Immediately stabilize incoming patients
Administer medication as instructed by physicians
Start intravenous lines, and set broken bones
Perform tracheotomies and intubations
Give patients stitches and sutures
Create and maintain incoming patient records
Work with a team of emergency staff to help patients
Help transfer stable patients to other wings
Compliance Credentials Needed:
Required: New York State RN License, Primary Source Verification, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, IV/Phlebotomy experience, AHA ACLS, COVID Vaccination Card

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
