Fidé is currently seeking a RN with Emergency Room experience for a 13 week contract in Edison, NJ.
Job Description:
Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need us most. In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, we need our ED RNs to be equipped to handle an array of emergency situations for patients of all ages. Our Emergency Department (ED) nurses are trained in dealing with a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions. Ideal prospective ED RNs must be able to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions and be able to prioritize their injuries and medical needs accordingly.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 Years of ED Experience- Required.
- BLS-aha, ACLS-aha, NIHSS, PALS-aha- ALL Required.
- Nurse to patient ratio- 1:6 (occasionally 1:7 based on acuity).
- Strong experience with Stroke, Sepsis, STEMI patients required.
- Can see up to 20 stroke patients/per shift.
- This is a FAST-PACED, high patient acuity Emergency Department.
- Emergency Department can reach up to 220 Patient Volume ED/per day.
- Float Requirements- float within department- ED Adult, Peds, IMC.
- Will work every other weekend
- Holidays as needed. NOR.
- Must be highly reliable and be available to work all days other then those that were pre-disclosed prior to offer.
- Must not have alternative jobs that would interfere with HMH schedule being a priority.
Compliance Credentials Needed:
- Current NJ RN License (compact allowed)
- COVID Vaccination plus booster, Current Flu shot status
- Current NIHSS
- Associates Degree-Required.
- BSN preferred.
