About us
**Job Overview:**
We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily office operations and ensuring smooth administrative processes.
**Duties:**
- Assist in managing and organizing office documents, files, and records
- Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate and schedule appointments
- Respond to phone calls, emails, and inquiries in a professional manner
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed
-Prepare invoices on at least a weekly basis
-Resolve payment discrepencies and disputes on behalf of the company
-Organizing and filling deposit reciepts as invoices are paid
-Organize and verify monthly payable statements from various vendors and preform bill payments
-Greet customers in a friendly manner and help with various over the counter sales
-Analyze financial records for accuracy
-Collect and manage timecards for employees
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in general accounting principles
- Knowledge of Governmental accounting practices
- Familiarity with Debits and Credits concepts
- Understanding of Technical accounting procedures
- Experience with Journal entries and Budgeting processes
- Exposure to Public accounting practices
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
-Exposure to QuickBooks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
