Facilitator, Alternative Investments Operations

The Role

We are a new department looking for a Facilitator, Alternative Investments, you who will be responsible for developing training programs and facilitating all training for the Alternative Investment Investor Relations team. Your focus will be driving associate proficiency through classroom and mentoring effectiveness which will include virtual delivery. You have a passion to teach and continuously better the learning experience for all associates with the client always in mind. You will be responsible for performing preparation activities such as coordination of technology, logistics, etc. to ensure flawless training program execution. Role responsibilities will expand as department grows and initiatives warrant.

• Supporting modern learning approaches while growing our associates’ capabilities to drive business efficiency.
• Consulting with aligned functions and business partners to design, develop and implement impactful training solutions.
• Deliver mentorship feedback directly to associates to help drive associate proficiency, performance, and results.
• Provide ongoing program management for new and existing learning programs in Alternative Investment Investor Relations, including the onboarding experience.
• Crafting and maintaining the learning content to ensure accuracy while properly storing content
• Demonstrating proven attention to detail, ability to evaluate problems and exhibit a methodical approach to solutions

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelors or equivalent
• 2 years of meaningful / transferrable work experience within Fidelity Investments
• Experience with or exposure to facilitation, instructions, and adult learning principles
• Alternative Investments or SS&C application knowledge, preferred
• Extended hours may be required during fund launches, system changes, as well as during peak cycles (month-end, year-end, tax season, etc)
• Proven program and project management skills including onboarding
• Assess the accurate delivery method(s) and incorporating virtual training for optimizing the best learner experience.
• Ability to use multiple presentation tools and techniques, incorporating learning technologies and virtual approaches, to adapt to the audience and topic
• Strong analytical skills, intellectually curious and have strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate optimally with multiples levels internally in the organization
• You adjust quickly to new or changing assignments, processes, and people with agility

The Team

Embedded in the OSG, Operations Services Group, we are a newly built and growing team here at Fidelity, servicing the suite of Alternative Investment products that have been created and launched by Fidelity. This new space offers Fidelity a new asset class previously unexplored by current day Fidelity funds (ETFs, Mutual Funds).
