What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal Level Systems Analyst position at Fidelity Investments?
The Expertise You Have
- 8-10 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years managing IT projects/initiatives as a Systems Analyst.
- Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or related fields)
- Hands on experience managing and coordinating technology initiatives, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Hands on experience handling Systems Analysis for large complex applications, propose Data Model design changes and enable System Design changes working with Technical Leaders
- Experience leading, influencing, and collaborating in a matrix-managed environment and across multiple, diverse groups.

- Ability to analyze business problems and come up with solutions
- Have a collaborative approach to problem solving and your ability to adapt plans based on organizational dynamics and constraints.
- Triage technical issues – write SQL queries, look at test results, analyze and validate design etc.
- Ability to successfully deliver large-scale product initiatives by empowering and supporting your team and by helping to identify and remove impediments.
- Ability to organize and present ideas and information logically and concisely in a variety of ways (verbally, written, power-point, stories) and to a variety of audiences, including both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Ability to operate and influence in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Strong consultative, listening, communications and analytical skills.
