The Role and the Team
In the Fidelity Brokerage Technology group, we will welcome you onto an agile track that is at the forefront of engineering in Capital Markets and Brokerage Technology with a high level of focus on TDD, Continuous Integration/Delivery and engineering best practices. We want to work with an engineer who is versatile, always eager to take on new problems and share solutions as we push the technology forward. Working independently as well as collaboratively, it is important for this person to have a positive approach to leadership, teamwork, and a drive to deliver cutting edge solutions daily.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring

8 years of hands-on software development experience in application development with demonstrated proficiency, high quality, and a passion for writing code

Expert knowledge of technical analysis and design principles for building scalable applications

Development experience with TypeScript, Node.js, HTML/CSS, Java, SQL. Proficient in designing APIs and data modeling

Development experience with web application frameworks (Angular 2 , React, Vue.js), Spring Boot, Production experience with Kubernetes and Serverless on AWS

Experience with unit testing and test automation libraries/strategies.

Leadership to guide, encourage, and motivate your fellow engineers.

Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment.

Previous exposure to trading systems or brokerage technology is strongly preferred

Having excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to run with multiple tasks at a given time
