The Role
The Fidelity Institutional Technology group is looking for top, software engineering talent with a passion for crafting and delivering software solutions to be part of its diverse, globally distributed team of IT professionals providing development and maintenance of FI's client platforms and offerings.
The person onboarding to this C&M Production Excellence squad will supply to a team located in the US and India that is responsible for production stability, incident analysis and resolution, coding changes, TLM and Infrastructure with an emphasis on modernization. There is a wide range of applications and technologies supported by this squad including distributed, Cloud and mainframe that span all architecture tiers. Does this interest you? The Team
The FIWMS & WealthScape Platforms domain is within the FI Technology division. FIT exists to enable our business partners to win their respective marketplaces by crafting, building, and maintaining the technology platforms and products of Fidelity's Institutional business units! We have a relentless dedication to our clients supporting several product areas including billing, data sharing, integration solutions, operations, client transition, banking, trust, retirement, and managed account platforms.
As a member of this squad, the person will support the following set of activities daily:
- Dedicated to complete assigned work along with technical and functional analysis
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment
- Provide daily support and triage of production issues
- Develop production fixes for front-end, middle tier and back-end applications
- Actively support testing stories leading to implementation and regression automation
- Apply and improvise existing DevOps pipelines for CI/CD
- Implement observability and monitoring capabilities for legacy and cloud capabilities
- Participate in TLM activities involving EOL tech stack, resiliency and upgrades
- Attend agile daily standup meetings and ceremonies along with maintaining assigned Jira tasks
- Partnership oriented working within a squad across shores and regions
- Supply to comprehensive documentation for applications and knowledge bases
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Participate in oncall rotation with onshore team (10:00 AM to 10:00 PM)
Expertise and Skills You Bring:
The candidate should have a bachelor's degree or higher and possess 2 years of working experience; Investment/financial services and/or brokerage industry experience is desired.
