Job Posting for Desktop Support Technician at Field Engineer

Job Description:

  • Candidate will be taking PC hardware break fix calls at various locations.
  • Must be able to pass drug and background screening.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with related hardware components
  • Skilled at defusing high-stress situations and facilitating resolution to technical problems
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), time management, and developmental skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides support for software, hardware and networking support for desktops, laptops and servers
  • Provides maintenance and support on legacy products
  • Installs and maintains PCs and associated software, and peripherals
  • Performs installs, moves, adds and changes as required
  • Provides follow-up on problems or escalation.
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress.
  • Insures customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Work Location: One location
