SUMMARY: Provides service to bank customers & support to retail & operational departments of the company by performing various duties & tasks related to bank operations. This includes bookkeeping, ATM & bank debit cards, wire transfers, electronic banking, ACH, data entry, customer information files, provides exceptional external & internal customer service by being consistently courteous, professional, accurate, timely, knowledgeable, & patient to the customer. Duties performed within realm of bank regulations that protects the customers & the institution. Duties often performed within a strict deadline.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of the banking or financial services industry, deposit experience a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other computer skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in successful operation of the bank's electronic products and services by following written policies and procedures.
  • Progressively learn all electronic services offered by the bank.
  • Assist with answering departmental telephones and respond to general inquiries as necessary (Balance, Statement Requests, or other Account Information).
  • Assist with CIF duties.
  • Assist in verification of CD checks against CD & IRA Forecast reports.
  • Assist in maintaining an updated register & prepare checks for mailing.
  • Communicate and work with Deposit Operations, Retail Administration, Relationship Bankers, as well as other departments.
  • Assist with various report proofing as assigned.
  • Assist debit card, online banking, bill pay, & telephone banking users in resolving problems through diagnoses & discussion with other team members.
  • Assist with maintenance of various logs (debit card fraud & disputes, red flag, research & adjustment, charge-off, etc.)
  • Scan and index all necessary documents in Synergy.

ADA REQUIREMENTS: Work is performed in an open office setting; one must be able to concentrate & perform work in an area that will likely result in the interruptions of one’s duties. May be required to lift items weighing up to 20-50 lbs.
