Official title: Partnerships Manager
We are looking for a Partnerships Manager for a non-profit, athletic association headquartered in Indianapolis, IN.
This will be a role with a lot of variety where you will assist the Director in closing new corporate sponsors/partners as well as provide support, fulfillment, marketing, follow-up, and ongoing relationship/account management.
This is a great career move for someone with corporate partnership experience, sales support, or sales operations experience, who wants to gain additional experience on an international stage with national partners.

CORPORATE PARTNERSHIP

Prospect and close new corporate partnerships

Generate new revenue via new business partnerships

Create new inventory that is sellable in the current landscape

Assist/manage day-to-day sponsor fulfillment of contractual rights and benefits, including trafficking media for broadcasts, print/web ads, logo integration, event signage, event tickets, hospitality, and digital fulfillment

Create and present sponsors' packages designed to meet a prospective client's objective

Manage sponsor/athlete relationships and communication as needed – nationally recognized athletes and top amateur athletes with athlete safety always in mind

Create monthly/yearly client touchpoint calendar
TICKET SALES

Prospect member gym clubs on group ticket options for select events
-
Create long-standing relationships with member gyms that create value for the organization

Manage multiple ticketing systems and sales tracking of a particular event

Create sellable group ticket packages that generate revenue for the event and package corporate partnership agreements with potential group ticket agreements

Generate reports for the leadership team that identifies sales progress

Manage all aspects of the Club Ticket Sales program for every event, involving communication with this athletic community in the promotion of events and serving as the main point of contact for all ticket sales

Assist the Marketing Manager with the athlete appearance program for events including the planning and implementation of advance PR trips and appearances at clubs

Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound ticket sales inquiries and ticket related questions

Manage the comp and paid ticket allotment for each event

Assist in the development of a Ticket Operations Plan for each Program event

Work with Vice President of Sales Marketing and member services to create grassroots initiatives to leverage the organization's partners and offers at the local level
FULFILLMENT AND EVENT ACTIVATION

Manage and fulfill corporate partnership agreements in the assigned book of business

Assist Marketing Manager as it relates to event activation for premier events

Maintain relationship/day-to-day communication with broadcasting partners
DIGITAL MARKETING

Oversee digital marketing efforts as it relates to the promotion of premier events

Create digital marketing programs that promotes our events and sells group/individual tickets

Assist marketing manager with day-to-day tasks to help market premier events
-
Other duties/projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 3 years of group ticket or corporate partnership sales
-
Advanced negotiation skills and a clear understanding of the sales process
-
Competitive spirit and a desire to drive new business for the organization

Ability to establish new relationships and work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills

A clear understanding of the digital landscape in the sports marketing industry

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
