What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Coordinator position at FiftyForward?

FiftyForward has an excellent opportunity for a skilled, resourceful, and motivated Technology Coordinator. This is a full-time position with regular weekday hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm with the ability to respond to emergencies as needed. The role is primarily on site (seven locations located in Davidson and Williamson counties).
The ideal candidate is an analytical person who is also an excellent communicator, has a desire to help people, and a strong sense of empathy for their needs. In this role, you will ensure a smooth technology transition for employees entering and leaving the organization as well as direct oversite of the organization’s IT budget, vendor contracts and technology equipment.
What you’ll do:
- Responsibility for onboarding and offboarding employees including communication with hiring manager and Human Resources Director, assignment of computer equipment, submission of onboarding/offboarding ticket to IT technical support vendor, set up of telephone service through service provider, follow up with employee and vendors.
- Manage the organization’s IT budget including procurement and tracking of IT assets and vendor service agreements to include outside technical support, internet service, telephone service, security monitoring and entry service, copier service and software license renewals.
- Develop successful partnerships with staff and external vendors.
- Work closely with management to continuously improve internal technology and support processes.
- Maintain a technology asset management system, keeping it up to date for all assets and services through their life cycle.
- Lead IT projects as requested including coordinating the disassembly and reinstallation of IT equipment in support of new buildings/locations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to work in a variety of environments and walk, stand, climb, squat, bend, twist, lift, crawl under desks, reach, carry items, push and pull carts loaded with equipment as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in information technology, computer science or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum four years’ working experience in the field including direct experience supporting and troubleshooting incidents (end users/systems) remotely and in person.
- Experience with phone systems, Wi-Fi hardware, fiber software and hardware as well as general office equipment is a plus.
- A valid TN driver’s license, good motor vehicle record, appropriate automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
