As the Senior Director of Brand Operations and Production, you will play a pivotal role in driving the operational excellence and seamless execution of our brand's creative vision across all marketing efforts.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Director of Brand Operations and Production to lead and oversee the efficient coordination of creative operations, project management, cross-functional collaboration, and production activities within the Marketing department. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of successful project execution and team management.
Responsibilities
Creative Operations Leadership-
- Lead and manage the creative operations team, ensuring efficient processes for ideation, creation, and execution of marketing campaigns, brand assets, and design projects.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages creative excellence, while also maintaining adherence to brand guidelines.
Project Management Excellence-
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to project management teams across various marketing initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Implement best practices in project management, ensuring efficient workflows, resource allocation, and communication across teams.
- Management of External vendor relationships and freelancers
Cross-Functional Collaboration-
- Collaborate closely with merchandising, legal, finance, and other relevant teams to align on brand objectives, ensure cross-functional coordination, and drive the seamless execution of campaigns and product launches.
Production Team Leadership-
- Lead and manage the production team responsible for translating creative concepts into tangible assets, overseeing the end-to-end production process, including photography and videography
- Drive the implementation of efficient production workflows and processes to optimize resource utilization and asset quality.
Budget Planning and Management-
- Develop, manage, and optimize budgets for brand operations, production, and project management activities, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve strategic goals.
- Provide regular budget reports and insights to leadership, making recommendations for resource adjustments as needed.
Performance Measurement and Reporting-
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for brand operations, production, and project management teams, and regularly monitor and report on performance against these metrics.
- Utilize data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of operational efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in brand operations, project management, and creative production within a fast-paced consumer brand environment.
- Proven experience in successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams, with a track record of developing and mentoring team members.
- Exceptional project management skills, including experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and budget management skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
- A deep understanding of the creative process, brand development, and marketing strategies.
- Experience in the apparel or fashion industry is a plus.
FIGS Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range
- At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role's base salary range is between $150,000 and $190,000. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
