Inline Quality Assurance Tech
The position will work in our Seattle Manufacturing Facility conducting audits on products while they are on the production lines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review product verifying correctness by comparing to specifications and or a sample product according to AQL Audit Standards
- Measure Product to compare against measurement specification
- Keep and maintain audit details
- Interpret and understand AQL Audit Tables
- Communicate quality results and concerns to Manufacturing Manager
- Monitor factory orders as they move through the production process in order to initiate audits at key transition points
- Engage employees and/or supervisors during audit to learn their roles, duties, methodology, and instruction
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in luggage/garment manufacturing or inspections a plus
- Detail oriented
- Basic math skills
- Ability to use and read a tape measure
- Ability to read and understand product specification packet
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, learn new skills, and adapt quickly to changing needs of the department
- Demonstrate the ability to work alone and within a group setting
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Excel, and Word
- Ability to communicate and understand English -- Multi-Lingual in Cantonese, Vietnamese or Mandarin a plus
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

- Regularly to stand and walk around for 8 hour shifts
- Use hands and fingers to work, grasp and pinch
- Use computer, pack and unpack product
- Reach up, across, or down to retrieve products and supplies
- See, talk, and hear
- Ability to stand and walk all day long
- Occasionally required to move or lift up to 40 pounds
- Carry products throughout facility to workspace
Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to view small details within 2 feet to inspect quality of products.
