Purpose of Role
Manage marketing efforts that support the Company’s revenue and profitability goals while maintaining strong brand awareness and integrity. Primary responsibilities include managing, reporting on and providing recommendations for traffic-driving initiatives; managing the production and on-time delivery of content and campaigns; and overseeing and growing the Company’s brand presence on social media.
Expectations
Manage traffic to the Company's site and social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and customer review site profiles (utilizing organic social strategies and staying within paid acquisition strategy budget)
Create, publish and monitor engagement with outbound posts to achieve impression and conversion KPIs
Engage with influencers and partners to cultivate thought leadership brand presence and drive referral traffic
Continually monitor social performance/engagement and provide proactive strategic recommendations for improvement
Ensure delivery of marketing assets within identified timelines and design/copy/quality specs
Develop copy, graphics, etc. as individual contributor and by managing third-party contributors (copywriters, graphic designers, etc.)
Continually monitor keyword and page performance/engagement and provide proactive strategic recommendations for improvementoManage the development of content assets and landing pages to support larger SEO strategy
Use software and analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, Facebook, Ubersuggest and others) to manage and report on progress against goals and develop recommendations / corrective measures for staying on track
Partner with Bus Dev, Product, Customer Service and other teams to create content and campaigns in support of other internal initiatives as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Experience/Skills
A minimum 2 years of experience successfully managing social media for a D2C or B2B brand to drive traffic, awareness and engagement is required
Minimum 2 years of experience on a high-performing marketing team at a startup
Minimum 2 years of experience driving/tracking measurable outcomes with performance-based/KPI-based marketing
In-depth knowledge of content marketing, social media and SEO best practices
Solid proficiency in branding, messaging and copywriting
General knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and Google Analytics
Graphic design proficiency a plus
Experience with HubSpot a plus
