Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Sales Manager to drive our sales initiatives in the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic color sectors. This role involves crafting effective sales strategies, managing customer relationships, ensuring timely order dispatch and inventory planning, and driving business growth through diligent market research and business development efforts.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute robust sales strategies and plans to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue objectives.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients while seeking new business opportunities. Provide tailored solutions to meet client needs and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the timely dispatch of orders and manage inventory based on sales forecasts and historical data.
- Market Research and Analysis: Perform thorough market research to grasp industry trends and customer preferences. Utilize data analysis to optimize sales strategies.
- Business Development: Explore and capitalize on new business opportunities by entering new markets, targeting additional customer segments, and forging strategic partnerships.
- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, monitor sales performance, and generate detailed reports for the President with strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborative Team Work: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product development teams to ensure sales strategies align with broader company goals. Share feedback on market demands and customer needs.
- Customer Visitation Reporting: Document and report on outcomes of customer interactions.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree required.
- Sales Experience: Proven success in sales, with a preference for experience in Cosmetic ingredients. Experience in the food and pharmaceutical sectors is also valued.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the cosmetic, food, and pharmaceutical industries, including market trends, regulatory environments, and competitive dynamics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent ability to communicate and build relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical Abilities: Skilled in data analysis, market research, and sales forecasting, with a keen ability to identify trends and make informed decisions.
