What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Finney's Crafthouse & Kitchen?
Finney's Crafthouse is an American-fare food restaurant and gastropub that offers 30 craft beers on tap. We are dedicated to creating a family dining experience that speaks to the local community and creates regulars through exceptional food, drinks, and most importantly, service. This Laguna Beach location is set to open in January 2023, this is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor and to be a part of a team that desires to become an integral part of the Laguna Beach community.
We are looking for enthusiastic hosts (no previous experience needed) who can provide excellent guest experiences. Compensation includes minimum wage and tips.
Responsibilities
- Friendly and helpful interactions with guests that aid in their experience
- Assess guests’ needs and preferences to make optimal recommendations while waiting for their table
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Accurate quote times and constant circulation throughout the restaurant to ensure we are knowledgable on where tables are at in their service
- Greeting and seating guests
- Aid in starting beverages and bussing tables as necessary
- Comply with health and safety regulations and standards
- Strong team dynamic where full hands-in and full hands-out is exhibited
