Under general guidance by the Lead Principal Regulatory Training Specialist, the Multimedia Designer develops print and digital imagery, multimedia, and interactive components in support of training courses, websites/portals, and learning resources. Responsible for creative design and technical development to foster learner engagement and information retention in collaboration with Member Supervision Training Specialists. The position also collaborates with Business Enablement, Engagement and Training (BEET) staff and other internal clients to create products of varying types and complexity; ensuring deliverables are representative of company graphic and brand standards and meets project schedules and deadlines.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Create and manage the design process and tasks from start to finish (i.e., from concept to final print or online implementation.)
  • Execute production of print and digital materials including videos, audio (narration, sound effects, etc.), web graphics, promotional materials (invitations, signage, promo images, emails), presentations, infographics, and various similar deliverables.
  • Work closely with Training Specialists and other clients to analyze project needs, provide recommendations, estimate timelines, and develop appropriate design strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Serve as brand manager to ensure adherence to corporate identity and brand guidelines, including management of digital asset library, and creation of style guides when needed. Able to create a variety of visual styles within the overall brand.
Education/Experience & Requirement Qualifications:
  • Fluent with Adobe Creative Cloud suite of software.
  • At least 4 years’ experience in a related position(s).
  • Stay abreast of design and cultural trends, software, and new technologies.
  • Practice good file organization, time management, communication, and teamwork.
  • Experience in Training, Adult Education, eLearning, or the securities/financial industry.
  • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint for file storage and internal web sites.
  • Ability to create motion graphics and 2D animation
  • Must have working knowledge of both Mac and Windows operating systems.
The salary/hourly rate for this position if the work is performed in New York, New York is a minimum of $43.03 per hour to a maximum of $ 77.07 per hour; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons.
Compensation Range for Colorado locations
Hourly: $43.03 - $77.07
