Job Title: Retail Credit Loan Fulfillment Manager

Reports To: Retail Credit Loan Fulfillment and Operations Manager

Direct Reports: Retail Credit Loan Fulfillment Specialist

Salary Grade: 10/10A

 

SUMMARY

Responsible for providing functional, technical and customer service leadership supporting the delivery of Consumer and Small Business loan packages in a dynamic marketplace.  Managing and interpreting complex and non-standard information and/or related files to ensure loan boarding packages are input into core system according to bank, regulatory and investor guidelines.    This position will promote and support customer service and business growth by implementing and maintaining procedures and performance metrics designed to ensure effective oversight and service for the loan documentation preparation.   Will need to exercise a high degree of independent judgment and good problem-solving skills.   

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree or equivalent experience.  
  • 3 years’ experience in a Consumer Loan and/or Small Business Operations Department, including pre-closing or processing and loan funding, with a strong background in real estate with 2 years management or supervisory, preferred.
  • Accuracy, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and training staff utilizing performance metric management tools.
  • Knowledge of FiServ, LaserPro, CSI, MeridianLink, BakerHill, UCBI Internal banking systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Communication, cooperation, and customer service oriented

  • Must possess the ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Own and resolve escalations from team members and exercise proper escalation to manager.
  • Thorough knowledge of loan documentation and lien perfection, Ability to manage team members located in different service centers
  • Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering training, as well as internal and external programs, online training, meetings, and/or seminars/conference, etc.

 

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Perform typical management duties such as performance reviews, vacation schedules, tracking time off, staffing levels, as well as disciplinary issues and/or coaching, as needed.
  • Ensures team is completing all loan closing duties in accordance to Service Level Agreements
  • Serve as subject matter expert for department.  
  • Managing the process of loan boarding packages into the core system according to bank, regulatory and investor guidelines.
  • Managing the funding process for the Consumer and Small Business Group loans
  • Manage daily queue volume and work-flow; monitor key performance metrics utilized to measure performance.   Demonstrate the ability to guide others through the development and implementation of corrective action to improve performance that is not meeting established minimal acceptable performance standards.
  • Provide productivity and error reports to management.
  • Will actively participate in internal audits and reviews of the department
  • Provide timely, complete, and accurate responses to inquiries.
  • Promote a team environment with all members of Retail Credit Center
  • Will actively participate in onsite quarterly training and/or branch meetings.
  • Ability to serve as backup for Loan Fulfillment Specialist
  • Actively participate in the testing and delivery of the Loan Documentation system Laser Pro and CSI functionality ensuring the platform is utilized to create maximum efficiency and usability for the Retail Credit Fulfillment Team.
  • Ensure team members are trained on CSI and Laser Pro system to ensure documentation accuracy and integrity.
  • As part of the overall, this position may be required to assist in the support of other department activities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position manages 10 employees and is responsible for the coaching, development, and performance management of those employees.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Airport Road, Blairsville GA or 125 East Broad, Greenville, SC

 

POSITION TYPE

This is a full-time position that requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

 

TRAVEL

This position requires up to 20% travel.
