What will you do:
Position Summary
Responsible for the support of the Bank’s payments products and services which includes Check, ACH, Wire, and EFT.
Accountabilities
Wire Processing
- Analyze wire information to originate domestic and international wires and security payments.
- Monitor the status, process wires in the various queues, and release wires according to established OFAC guidelines, departmental policy, and procedures.
- Perform call-back verifications for wire transfers; retain wire documentation to comply with compliance and audit standards including searching the wire transfer database for the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (or FinCEN) as required by the US Patriot Act Section 314(a).
ACH Origination Processing
- Perform call-back verifications for ACH Transfers.
- Handle ACH “error in processing” calls, determine issue, and proceed with the appropriate actions.
- Call customers to communicate ACH Corrections and ACH Returns.
Risk Management
- Perform customer due diligence, adhering to the Customer Identification Program (CIP).
- Secure appropriate approval when established payment limits are exceeded.
