Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and build positive relationships with tenants.
- Market and advertise available units to attract prospective tenants.
- Conduct thorough tenant screenings and background checks.
- Coordinate and supervise property maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and lease agreements.
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Implement strategies to maximize occupancy rates and rental income.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Property Manager or similar role.
- Proficiency in property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with contract management and negotiation.
- Understanding of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) program is a plus.
- Sales experience is beneficial for promoting the property to potential tenants.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and other relevant legal administrative procedures.
