Job Title: FHH Sales Support Specialist

Reports to: Regional Sales Manager

Purpose Statement

This position supports the vision and goals of Fireside Hearth & Home by supporting the Builder Sales Representative team of the region. This position will assist FHH Builder Sales Representatives by completing routine administrative activities to help the sales team increase effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions

  • Creates accurate quotes in iQuote/P21 with all the required materials, selections, and labor based on the information received from the Builder Sales Representatives (BSRs) and presents quotes to builder/homeowner customers explaining lead times and service expectations.
  • Answers live phone calls, emails, & faxes from all customers in the value chain, including the FHH sales team, field team, operations team, and external customers. Identifies and meets the needs of each internal and external customer using a high level of expertise and broad product knowledge, enlisting the help of the BSR team when necessary, and ensuring all issues/questions are completed or followed up on until the issue is resolved or question is answered.
  • Assists the BSR team with questions regarding any issues handled by the sales department, including pricing accessories/parts, and labor, and answering questions about jobs already dropped on the schedule. Other pricing issues/questions and scheduling are handled by the Operations team.
  • Works with the HHT sales and marketing teams on custom sales literature, samples, and other sales items.
  • Creates, and keeps current, a builder file including builder contact sheet, quotes, job requirements, selection sheets, pay schedules, directions, and any other important information on new or existing builder accounts.
  • Makes initial contact with the lead/permit list by cold calling, sending emails, post cards, and/or letters to determine vitality of the lead and/or schedule appointments with the assigned BSR to discuss revenue generating opportunities.
  • Performs administrative assistant functions for the BSR & RAM team including model home claim forms, market plan update, preparing reports as well as analyzing data and identifying solutions to issues found.
  • Continuously improves product, process, and tool knowledge by completing all on-line training on MyHearthEd.com, researching products and parts on MyHHT.com, attending hands-on training, and attending sales and branch meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications
Skills and Abilities

  • Self-motivated, demonstrating a passion for the required work
  • Able to manage time effectively, stay organized, multi-task productively, and follow-up consistently
  • Highly skilled with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adaptable to change driven by continuous improvement
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and externally with customers, building long-term good relationships.
  • Able to complete all requirements of the position and teamwork whilst maintaining a positive attitude and handling stress appropriately

Education & Experience

Required

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 or more years of experience working in the hearth and/or construction industry
  • 2 or more years of experience in sales and/or customer service roll

Preferred Qualification

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
