Position: Fire Alarm Design Manager
Firetrol Protection Systems is looking for certified Fire Alarm Design Manager for our Austin Texas office with a minimum of five (5) years of experience. The successful candidate possess their State of Texas APS license will work under the direct supervision of the Alarm Operations Manager. The preferred candidate should have fire alarm industry experience exemplifying a strong work ethic.
The preferred candidate should have fire alarm industry experience and have a confident familiarity with the following:
International Building and Fire Codes.
NFPA Codes and Standards.
Fire Alarm and Mass Notification System Layouts and Specifications.
Evaluations of Existing Fire Alarm and Mass Notification Systems.
Evaluations of Special Hazard Suppression Systems.
Perform Building and Life Safety Code Analysis for Various Structures.
Perform Submittal Reviews of Fire Alarm Installation Submittals.
Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook, as well as AutoCAD and/or REVIT.
Willingness to Perform Other Work Related Duties as Assigned.
