We are seeking a Six Sigma Black Belt to join our team! First Advantage’s Business Process Improvement (BPI) Transformation Office is designed to drive the organization towards operational excellence and operational innovation by delivering impact on mission-critical challenges across the Americas utilizing a broad toolkit of Lean, Six Sigma, Automation, Change Management, Agile, Design and System-Thinking. What You'll Do
In more detail than above, a successful Black Belt will:
- Utilizing the BPI toolkit to drive teams through quick problem-solving cycles as well as end-to-end process redesigns
- Leading strategic projects in-line with the expectations of the business and stakeholders
- Building credibility to become the 'Go-To' person for problem solving
- Managing expectations as agreed with the BPI Leader
- Coaching GBs in their continuous improvement projects
- Be the BPI Brand Ambassador and actively contribute to Making BPI Better initiatives
- Build reputation with regional/local (Organization) management teams not limited to assigned business function
- Help build an award-winning BPI COE that includes BPI trainings and certification/ peer review sessions to ensure BPI rigor is applied and followed adequately
An exceptional candidate has a history of leading big organizations through changes involving:
- Updating technology and operational processes for scalability to handle exponential growth
- Automating and fail-proofing manual processes like data acquisition, processing, and report-based reactive workflow management
- Improving accuracy of operational output in a high-stakes industry, where quality directly impact consumers and clients
What You May Need to be Successful:
(Education) bachelor’s degree required; Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Communications, Engineering, majors all work well. Preferably with significant coursework in mathematics or statistics.
- 5 years’ experience in functional area of expertise within service or consulting industries
- 5 years of high degree of competency in the use and application of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology. Green Belt (internal candidates) or Black Belt certification (external candidates) strongly desired
- Ideal Team Player qualities (hungry, humble, people smart)
- Proven track record of consulting, negotiating, and influencing without authority
- Demonstrated ability to operate strategically and lead change
- Track record of driving results and exceeding expectations & targets
- Ability to solve challenging problems
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and high energy
- Excellent customer service abilities
Preferred:
- Organizational change management
- Agile Methodology
- Project Management
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required.
- Knowledge or experience in R Programming, low code/no code methods, building macros, Atlassian products, Power BI, and/or Qlik a plus.

The salary range for this position is approximately $85,500-$134,000 USD per year. This range reflects our good faith estimate to pay fairly as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
