Designs, manufactures, and supply’s the wire and cable products that are essential to daily life. Built on more than 85 years of expertise, our global team serves the automotive, commercial, residential, industrial, and telecommunications industries.
Responsible for proper set up and operation of assigned enamel lines.
Responsible for working in a safe and efficient manner. Maintains a safe workplace by anticipating, recognizing and reporting any potential workplace hazards, by attending required safety training and by adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
Responsible for compliance with environment rules and standards and attending required training.
Responsible for the quality of the finished product. Identifies problems in the enameling process and completes corrective action.
Responsible for reading, understanding and following all instructions including but not limited to manufacturing instructions, work instructions and set up sheets.
Responsible for performing all team operations including but not limited to start ups, changeovers, welds.
Responsible for monitoring all aspects of the take-up area to ensure all requirements are met and the reels are promptly and properly stripped and packed, including but not limited to understanding and adhering to proper package code, size and weight including minimums and maximums.
Responsible for housekeeping.
Complete forms, checklists, audits and other paperwork as required.
Other duties as assigned.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
The employee frequently is required to push / pull and reach with hands and arms and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb, stoop, bend, and twist.
The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to sixty-five (65) pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to ninety (90) pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Our shifts are 8 : 00 PM 8 : 00 AM, rotating shifts.
Starting pay is $20.40 / hour day shift, night shift is$21.65 / hour. Once Hired Full time we have step progressions at 4 months, 8 months and 12 months
