What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Security Architect position at First Hawaiian Bank?
First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Associate Security Architect to join our Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering Department. In this role, you will be responsible to support the strategic development and integration of security controls in the various cloud instances (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, etc.) managed by the bank. Assist the IT Security Architecture & Engineering team in the development of secure solutions by working with technical leads and business units to understand the relationship between the on-premises infrastructure and the cloud technology stacks. In addition to the above, you will learn to identify and anticipate security threats and identify areas of weakness in First Hawaiian Bank systems.
The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM (hours may vary)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Associate’s degree in an information technology related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in an information technology or 2 years or more in either the Information Technology or Information Security field preferred.
- 2 years or more working with networking, server, and end user technology (Bachelor’s Degree may be substituted for this requirement).
- 2 years or more in either the Information Technology or Information Security field preferred.
- Good analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Good multi-tasking and communications skills.
