Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of a Section 8/Tax Credit property, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Handle all aspects of tenant move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and security deposit refunds
- Respond to tenant inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Assist in the preparation and managment of property budgets, including rent collection and expense tracking
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance work
- Market available units and conduct property showings to prospective tenants
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related activities
Skills:
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in data entry and file management
- Excellent customer relationship management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants and address their needs
- Proficient in phone etiquette, with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve conflicts professionally
- Experience with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite
- Strong negotiation skills for contract agreements with vendors and contractors
