Overview
First National Bank of America is a nationwide mortgage lender in the Non-QM industry. Our business is unique in that we underwrite and service all of the loans we originate, in house. This allows us to focus on our clients individually, customize our guidelines on a case-by-case basis and build lasting relationships with the people we help. As an Account Resolution Specialist you will work closely with our customers providing solutions for resolving their delinquent accounts. The work is highly precise in nature and requires a very strong attention to detail. A successful Account Resolution Specialist will be able to collaborate within their team as well as other departments throughout the bank. Location: On-site in our East Lansing, MI office

Responsibilities
- Work directly with foreclosure case managers
- Work with title companies
- Prepare deed in lieu of foreclosure documents
- Review mortgage documents
- Draft letters and correspondences for internal and external use
- Perform routine customer calls and correspondences
- Resolve client questions or problems ensuring a resolution
- Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulation
- And any other duties
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Previous Customer Service experience
- Knowledge of mortgage documentation, title work or real estate experience a plus but not required, entry level para legal
