About the Role
PREMIER Bankcard is looking for outgoing, organized and friendly individuals to expand its team of New Customer Center Associates to promote the features and benefits of the First PREMIER Bank credit card. Becoming an advocate of First PREMIER will enable you to develop a comprehensive skill set for you to succeed.

Competitive hourly pay with additional pay for working premium hours. Starting wage is determined based on prior work experiences, with a minimum of $15.00 an hour. Bilingual skills will be compensated in the form of a 10% differential.
Full-time Hours:
Monday - Friday 12:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. every 3rd Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Part-Time hours:
Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. every 3rd Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Training Schedule:
Three weeks of paid on-the-job training! Monday - Friday daytime hours during training. Week One: Training regarding PREMIER Bankcard and the application status process, including handling calls in the skill trained.
Week Two: Training on how to process a credit card application as well as sales skills training, including handling calls in the skill trained.
Week Three: Training to bring application status and Inbound sales calls together and handling calls in both skill sets.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive inbound application calls from customers inquiring about PREMIER’s credit card product(s) using effective sales skills to gain the application.
- Provide business universal tasks such as handling application status calls from applicants and cross-selling product(s) to new or existing customers via inbound and or outbound (dialer) calls.
- Utilize effective sales/negotiating skills to acquire applications and up-front fees for PREMIER’s products and services.
- Establish smart goals of departmental standards for performance.
- Gather information; entering alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from customers through an inbound and outbound process.
- Proven ability to communicate product strengths/benefits with excellent verbal communication skills; overcoming customer’s objections
- Facilitate problem resolution in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Advise and educate applicants on information regarding their specific application.
- Discuss and secure acceptable payment arrangements with applicants/customers.
- Remain current on all aspects of the position, continuously applying new knowledge to the job.
- Follow all compliance standards; adhering to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Responsible for participating in all required training classes and maintaining knowledge of current policy and procedure changes and updates.
Skills and Qualifications
- Communicate effectively with peers, management and customers
- Exercise good judgment and independent decision-making skills while exhibiting exceptional listening, questioning and call center techniques
- Previous sales or customer experience preferred, but not required
- Display dependability with a solid attendance record
- Possess basic PC skills

- Shift differential pay of up to 20%, plus 10% differential pay for bilingual reps (Fluent in both English and Spanish)
