Deposit Trainer Position Overview:
The Deposit Trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs related to deposit products and services. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure that team members possess the knowledge and skills required to provide excellent customer service and succeed in their roles. Frequent travel to various First Southern locations is an essential component of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and facilitate job specific training for new and existing team members focused on deposit products and services.
- Collaborate with managers to identify specific training needs, address performance gaps, and make recommendations on training solutions.
- Regularly review and update training materials to reflect changes in deposit products, services, regulatory requirements and procedural changes.
- Coordinate training needs with the Deposit Compliance Officer, Deposit Manager, Director of Training and subject matter experts to ensure training content aligns with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
- Develop and implement assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of deposit training programs.
- Report all training progress to the Director of Training and immediate supervisors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Three to five years experience in the banking industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, education or another related field is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of deposit products, banking operations, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
