GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The incumbent is responsible for loan scanning, processing paid out loan packages, loan insurance tracking, escrow balancing and disbursement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process loan packages and assist in loan closings
- Scan loan packages into document imaging database.
- Pull credit checks on applicants.
- Process paid out loan packages.
- Track and update insurance on new and existing loans.
- Balance and disburse escrow transactions.
- Provide notary public services.
- File security documents with Courthouse.
- Maintain an orderly filing system.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature.
- High school, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; E.G. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED
- Regular use of complex machines and equipment (desktop/laptop computer and software, road and production machines and equipment, etc.)
- Intermediate: Word Processing/Typing
- Basic: 10-Key, Alphanumeric Data Entry, Database, Spreadsheet
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $25.00 per hour
