Clinical Program Manager-SUD

• First Step House is hiring a full time, fully licensed Program Manager for our orientation unit!!!

  • Pay is $55,000-$70,000 annually DOE

Duties include but not limited to:

• Uses the Utah Web Infrastructure for Treatment Services (UWITS) database to enter clinical notes, case-management notes, treatment plans, client information updates, billing information and other relevant client information.
• Completes timely funding requests and treatment updates based upon the treatment plan.
• Uses the American Society of Addiction Medicine's Criteria (ASAM Criteria 3) in recommending client service levels and in formulating treatment plans.
• Facilitates addiction-related psychotherapy groups and life-skills classes.
• At a minimum, is competent in providing substance-abuse treatment, group therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
• Performs regular individual-therapy sessions for clients with substance-use disorders and comorbid mental health issues.
• Performs initial and ongoing treatment planning in collaboration with the client and the treatment team.
• Monitors each client's program adherence, drug-test results, and group attendance and addresses problems as they arise.
• Monitors client urinalysis results and oversees clinical intervention when appropriate.
• Works in concert with line staff in ensuring continuity of care for clients during non-treatment hours.
• Completes all treatment-related letters, documentation, internal processes, and data entry in a timely manner.
