Business Data Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

• Liaise with all levels of management within First to gather relevant information and provide direction in the preparation of requested reports.
• Analyze and enhance current maintenance models, compliance reports, and financial reports.
• Assist senior management with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
• Facilitate the production of fleet metrics and related KPIs. Aid in variance analysis and resolution.
• Work closely with First personnel to provide fleet information and trends used to develop, monitor, and evaluate strategies to achieve objectives.
• Develop dashboards utilizing MS Power BI.
• Supply Region Maintenance Manager with actionable information and suggestions for corrective actions.
• Compile Key Performance Indicators on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Effectively create a visual snapshot of complex data sets for executive review.
• Design and develop control processes, documentation, and maintenance functions related to quality assurance.
• Leverage and work with technical teams to refine Azure data warehouses and MS PowerBI dashboards.
• Conduct variance analysis, statistical analysis, and other assessments relating to financial and operational performance.

Key Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of MS Azure required.
• Previous experience working with a data visualization software, such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to take constructive feedback and put it into action.
• Significant and demonstrated analytical ability. Must be able to independently identify a problem area, sift through multiple data sources, and develop a sound analysis.
• Ability to prioritize tasks from multiple projects.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels, ranging from the field to executive management.
• Competency in J.D. Edwards, Hyperion, SQL, and Infor EAM preferred.
