Responsible for complying with all applicable banking law and regulations.
Responsible for complying with all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering regulations, and the Office of Foreign Asset Control regulations.
Performs duties of credit administration for assigned lender(s).
Assists assigned lender(s) with loan applications and approvals.
Assists assigned lender (s) with maintaining commercial loans.
Assists loan customer with loan documentation, research on loan and corrections to loan payments.
Creates internal tickets for funding of all closed loans and uploads the loan package to Sageworks for upload onto FISERV.
Assists assigned lender(s) in loan documentation review and follows up to ensure liens are perfected with county clerk offices (Deed of Trusts), State Uniform Commercial Code, etc., after loan closings.
Assists assigned lender(s) with reviewing all overdrafts and past-dues and following up to ensure that the account is current.
Coordinates in-house loan closings with loan customers and communicates with Title Companies, as necessary, for closings.
Processes and runs tickets for requested loan advance, loan payments, loan payoffs, wire transfers, internal/external transfers etc.
Assists assigned lender(s) in following up with any outstanding exception items.
Interacts with title companies, attorneys, portfolio managers, credit analysts and doc prep to assist in preparation of loan documents.
Completes special projects or other tasks as requested.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Work overtime as assigned.
Work cooperatively with others.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred to have a four-year college degree. Strong PC skills including MS Word and Excel required. Previous banking and/or lending assistant experience preferred.
