Job Posting for Epic Business Intelligence Analyst at FirstHealth of the Carolinas
The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst develops reports, designs dashboards, data extracts, ad hoc queries and other complex reporting solutions and validates the results. Works with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure user acceptance testing and complete delivery of reporting/analysis solution. Uses enterprise BI tools: SQL Server Management Studio, EMR native SQL tools, Enterprise Data Dictionary and data governance definitions, may also use Crystal Reports, Power BI and other tools.
Bachelor's degree required with preference to analytical degrees: engineering, physics, computer sciences, math, information systems, or statistics. Licensure and/or Clinical Certification required, if applicable to the degree. Minimum of two years of experience designing, creating, and testing complex SQL based reports. Requires the ability to independently interact with customers and demonstrate critical thinking and follow through when developing solutions to identified issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. NC Driver’s License and ability to commute between FirstHealth facilities required.
Epic certification in assigned applications within 6 weeks of completion of final Epic course required.
