We are seeking a Systems Analyst III for contract position with our customer’s Philadelphia work facility. This is a hybrid (80% offsite, 20% onsite) position.
Duties
A System Analyst III is a senior level position in the System Analyst job family. A person in this position will be required to work with and across teams of analysts to provide advanced level support for their customers. Performs advanced system configuration changes and maintenance to support the lifecycle of the application. Recommends design enhancements and changes for complex systems. Required to mentor other staff and lead teams.
1. Performs operational support, maintenance and system configuration as defined in departmental operating procedures.
2. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves data and system issues of advanced complexity.
3. Works independently and leads small teams in support of team initiatives and projects.
4. Gathers requirements, develops specifications prepares and reviews documentation.
5. Develops, validates, and executes comprehensive test plans.
6. Performs 24/7 on call support if applicable.
7. Communicates effectively, negotiates changes, and assists in prioritization of tasks with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
8. May be considered the Subject Matter Expert in their area of application or domain.
9. Educates and coaches other team members.
10. May be required to travel to/from and work various customer locations, including patient care areas.
11. May be required to travel for mandatory certifications.
12. May be designated a “Health Care Worker”
13. May be required to represent I.S. and/or present to various Hospital Clinical and/or Operations committees.
14. Understand and comply with all enterprise and IS departmental information security policies, procedures, and standards.
15. Support the integration of information security in the development, design, and implementation of Hospital Technology Resources that process, transmit, or store customer information.
16. Support all compliance activities related to state, federal regulatory requirements, healthcare accreditation standards, and all other applicable regulations that govern the use and disclosure of patient, financial, or other confidential information.
Position will report to IS but will work directly with Quality and Safety leadership from the Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) Program.
Skills
- Epic Ambulatory certification desired
- Any Epic certification required
- Experience developing Welcome Questionnaires and Smart Data Elements (SDEs) in support of Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO)
- Experience with delivering questionnaires via MyChart
Required Experience
Two (2) years of experience working within a healthcare environment and within Information Systems.
Preferred Experience
Three (3) or more years of experience working within a Healthcare environment and within Information Systems.
Education/Other
- BS Degree with a field of study in Computer Science, IS, Business, and Healthcare
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $75.00 - $100.00 per hour
