About the team:
Our teams are self-managed and cross-functional. We are focused on delivering value to the company through technical solutions. Each team is composed of Developers, Quality Assurance Engineers, a Product Owner and a Scrum Master.
What you will be doing:
- As a team member, you will be involved in defining solutions, estimating effort and collaborating with other team members to deliver.
- Participate in team activities (i.e. Sprint Planning, Story Grooming, Sprint Retros, etc)
- Design new applications using Angular and REST technologies
- Support existing MVC and WCF based applications
- Facilitate technical discussions and provide alternate approaches to arrive at the best solution for the team
What you bring:
- 5+ Years Experience software development utilizing .NET Framework 4.5+, MS SQL Server 2012+ , C#, Visual Studio Team System, and Team Foundation Server, MVC
- 3+ Years AGILE SCRUM development
- 3+ Years experience developing Unit Tests using nUnit, MSTest or a similar framework.
- Financial services industry experience, preferably in a transaction processing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- This team does require a US Citizen or someone who has had their green card for a minimum of 3 years. It also requires they be able to pass an IRS background check which includes finger printing.
Added bonus if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- Experience migrating .Net applications to Azure using PaaS technologies
