What you will be doing:

You will jumpstart your future in the Fintech industry by working alongside experts and mentors who provide hand-on training and growth opportunities. You will push boundaries and be at the forefront of meaningful, forward-thinking change through your work at FIS. You will work closely with clients and internal team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. You will be responsible for designing, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget.

• Develop program logic for new applications or analyzes logic in existing applications to meet business requirements and FIS developmental standards
• Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software applications
• Creation of the production readiness documentation
• Component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations

What is this position?

**This position is slated to start June 29, 2020**

The FIS 2020 Associate Development Program:

As a 2020 Associate Development Program participant with FIS, you will benefit from an on the job training program. As a program participant you will have the opportunity to be mentored and participate in team projects, social events, community service activities work, and professional development seminars.

The first two weeks to two months is in Little Rock, Arkansas and includes programming, financial application and personal development training. After the first six months, you will continue with on-the-job training. The position provides full mentoring and full pay during the training period.

Upon the program start date, each ADP participant will complete an orientation program where participants:

• Learn how to work within a corporate environment
• Learn the structure of FIS and options for growth within the organization
• Hear from FIS leadership about their journey and participate in senior leader networking opportunities
• Build a network of your peers from across the organization

  The ADP program participants will participate in monthly virtual trainings with their manager and while receiving bi-weekly performance feedback from their managers they will also receive accelerated performance reviews and merit increases every six-months throughout the two-year development program.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, computer science or information systems, engineering, or related field
• Operating Systems: Windows 7 and 10, Windows Server 2008/2012, Linux, (Optional but helpful: Windows Server 2003, Exposure to RHEL, Mainframe MVS/VM/VSE/Zos)
• Programming / Programming Languages: Examples: Batch scripting, Java, C++ (Optional but helpful: JCL/Cobol/Assembler)
• General Understanding of FTP/FTPD/sFTP/FTPs and tools like WsFTP and WinSCP
• General Understanding of Virtual Systems including VMWare, Hypervisors (such as VirtualBox) and using Remote Desktop Client and ssh / putty.
• General Understanding of LAN /WAN Networking, firewalls, and TCP/IP, SSH. (Optional but helpful: SNA/LU62/3270/TN3270)
• General Understanding of Enterprise System Management Methodologies (ITIL)
• Solid technical skills. The nature of this role is technical
