About the role:
As a Programmer Analyst, you’ll help develop new fintech products that will change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This could involve working with bleeding edge technology while coding, implementing, maintaining and supporting software applications.

What you will be doing:
•Design customer requested enhancements and provide production support for a middleware application (Xpress IFX v1.5 v2.0 services) written in JAVA and older middleware ESL written in C interfacing with Systematics & Hogan cores.

Design customer requested enhancements and provide production support for FIS Code Connect APIs for client specific tenants.

Technologies involved include a strong understanding of REST, SOAP, web services, YAML, Swagger definitions, WSO2 API Manager. WSO2 Enterprise Integrator.

· Working in client environments utilizing client issued equipment for project related enhancement development as well as troubleshooting in client environments.

· Assisting other application teams such as Touchpoint Teller, Touchpoint Sales Service, MBP teams, D1 teams with enhancements, production support and overall troubleshooting.

· On-call responsibilities include troubleshooting Splunk and Thousand Eyes Alerts for supported clients across the enterprise to determine where the issue resides in the application architecture.

What you will need:

3-6 years Java programming OOP·

· DBMS / JDBC knowledge

· REST, SOAP, web services, YAML, Swagger definitions,.

· WebSphere application server configuration

· Working knowledge of static code remediation of issues reported in Veracode /CheckMarx (static code scanners)

· Knowledge of remediation of open source vulnerability remediation (Black Duck)

Experience on Spring core, Spring Integration

· Good knowledge in SQL and RDBMS

· Knowledge of WSO2 - APIM, Analytics, EI is an advantage

· Swagger and JSON Schema

· Web Technologies: J2ee, Servlets, JSP, Java Script, jQuery, Ajax, JSON, XML, XSLT, Xquery

· Web Services : SOAP, REST API

· Banking experience is an advantage

Nice to have:

CICS application knowledge IM, ST, RM is helpful

WSO2 API Manager

· Prior experience with other Xpress client implementations

· Banking experience is a plus

Xpress application programming experience

· Knowledge of IFX schemas
