What You Will Be Doing

As a Trust Administrator - VPM, you will monitor and manage large volumes of transactions, as well as perform data updates for collateralized loan obligations (CLOs). You will assist with various tasks related to loan servicing, custody, and communication with internal and external parties regarding loan specific items.

• Support assigned Trust Account Manager in the administration of trust securities accounts
• Interact in an ongoing relationship with associated financial partners and trust clients
• Assist with account administration functions to ensure client satisfaction.
• Perform daily account activity:
  • Posting receipts
  • Entering trade orders and check/wire requests
  • Raising cash for distributions
  • Handle account inquiries
  • Research account discrepancies
• Reconciliation of various cash flows, accounts, and data sets
• Process MJE (manual journal entries) as needed to adjust accrual
• Familiarity with unitranche financing, payment in kind, and other complex transactions related to loan processing
• Calculate fee sharing data, including manual calculations when necessary
• Administer all systems related to management of trust accounts
• Maintain all account documentation for current and historical monitoring of accounts

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
• Typically, up to 3 years' professional financial services industry experience
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPS) and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail in processing loan transactions and payments
• Capable of identifying, researching, and resolving financial discrepancies
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and interact well with team members, trust account managers, clients, and colleagues

Added Bonus If You Have

• Familiarity with loan processing and payment transactions
• Understanding and/or working knowledge of syndicated loans, bank loans, private loans, middle market loans, etc.
• Trust system & VPM accounting system experience
